Cheesy Hash Browns Casserole

This amazing side dish is so easy, even toddlers can do it!... Well, pretty much! Pair it with a veggie of your choice and some rotisseire chicken, and you've got an amazing dinner ready for any occasion - specialor not!

Materials

  • 1 lb frozen hash browns (cubbed or shredded)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups crushed crackers (Ritz is my personal favorite for this dish!)
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted, to mix with crushed crackers)

Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees (Fahrenheit).
  • Crush the crackers and combine with 1/4 of melted butter.
  • Stir all ingredients into a large bowl until fully combined.
  • Transfer to baking dish, and add the crushed crackers on top.
  • Bake it at 375 for 45-60 minutes, or until the very middle is hot.
